Margie Adam's "Images", from her 1972 Songwriter album, is played over the PA system for all to enjoy during the document signing.  The air is charged with sentiment, as Shelley used lines from this song in one of her first love notes to Barbie back in 1983.

Barbie, Shelley, and the Birgit the Notary Public sign the power of financial attorney, power of medical attorney, advance medical directive, California State and Los Angeles County Domestic Partner Declarations, their wills, a "pre-nuptial" agreement, and the Ketubah. Everybody was surprised at how many documents it took to get only some of the rights of the married.
Pick a flower from my soul put it in a crystal bowl.
