The ring has great symbology in many traditions. Barbie and Shelley have chosen to wear rings to symbolize the sacredness of their promises to one another. The design on their rings is a Celtic knot – the trefoil – a three-fold spiral representing their individuality and their relationship. |
| They asked the matriarchs of their families to bear their rings for
them. These two women have been an inspiration to Barbie and Shelley’s
lives.
Barbara, will you please get the ring carrier from your grandmother, Frances? And Shelley, would you please get the ring carrier from your aunt, Rose? We will charge the rings with the energy of the cardinal directions
of nature as a blessing to this commitment.
